This is a fabulous Kitchen Aid blender! I’ve been using it for so many different recipes and kitchen tasks, like making breadcrumbs.
I love how it pureed some fresh tomatoes, garlic and onion for a base for tortilla soup so smoothly!
Here’s the finished dish. (Not an eggnog martini, but hey, we have to balance, right?)
I got the idea for a holiday cocktail the other day simply because I had a little chocolate ice cream I wanted to use. I wanted to get rid of the carton in the freezer (taking up too much precious real estate!) So I spied the eggnog liqueur in the fridge, threw some ice cubes into the blender, and in no time, my easy eggnog martini recipe was born! It was so delicious!
I had to think of a way to spruce up the presentation, so I dipped the rim of the martini glass in a little eggnog liqueur on a plate, and then into crushed speculoos biscuits in my mini mortar and pestle–yum!
Here’s the thing, you can use vanilla or chocolate ice cream to make the eggnog martinis as both flavors work perfectly with the liqueur.
Of course, you can use regular eggnog to make this cocktail, too, you’ll just need some vodka or rum, depending on your taste for a martini eggnog. The Kitchen Aid K400 blender can whip up enough for a party in no time! Updated 12/23 to add that it now comes with a personal blending jar, too!
Try this peppermint martini, too!
This easy eggnog martini is perfect for Christmas, Hanukkah or New Year’s Eve!

What a brilliant idea, Christina. This looks so deliciously festive too and great for a holiday party dessert!
Thanks, dear!!
This might actually be a martini I would enjoy! I’m afraid martinis aren’t my thing, because I don’t like straight alcohol!
I wanted to call this a cocktail, but apparently no one searches for eggnog cocktails, but they do search for eggnog martini! I’m with you. Made a classic martini once and about died! Could not taste what on earth was appealing about a dry martini! Eeek!
I’m with both of you. I can drink a dry martini only with some lemon soda water (such as 7-up or Sprite), but I’m not sure it’s a good idea. I guess it’s harmful to the stomach.
I’ve never tried eggnog martini, but I’d like to do it soon. I hope it won’t have such a strong taste.
By the way, I wish I had found your blog a bit earlier, before Christmas, and serve it on a festive table. Sure, my relatives will love it, they love martini, especially my mother-in-law :)
Thank you for sharing this recipe, Christina! Added to bookmarks!
And Happy New Year!
Thanks, Anna! Happy new year to you, too and I hope you try this recipe, it’s not too strong of a flavor, but you can always adjust to your own taste. :)
