Bonjour from Paris!
I’m sorry I haven’t been updating you very much, but between not having time due to all the traveling I’ve been doing, added to the lack of WIFI, it’s been very difficult. However, this morning I am in Paris and before I pop out to see the amazing view from the Montparnasse Tower, I wanted to give you a little review of where I’ve been.
As you can see from the photo above, I went to Bruges for the day and it was such a fantastic and easily walkable city. I went with my cousin and her family and we were caught in a downpour at the end of the day, but thankful that it wasn’t earlier!
I was fortunate to be hosted by Geneva Tourism next, and I honestly cannot wait to share the sights and my experiences from this elegant jewel of Europe! This is just a taste of what’s to come…
I then flew to Bordeaux where the lovely Jill Colonna from Mad About Macarons and author of the cookbook by the same name, and Teatime in Paris (which I reviewed for you) met me! We got on like a house on fire and had so much fun together! We both then took a train to visit my food-blogging idol, Karen from Lavender and Lovage!! Eeek! It was like getting to meet and stay with a favorite celebrity! We had an absolutely brilliant time together from fencing in a grocery store and wine tasting at a château, to cooking lessons in Karen’s gorgeous kitchen!
I’m now in Paris, as I said and will be heading to Rome this evening, where I’ll meet my cousin, Denisa from England. We are winging it in Italy as we have not even had time to plan anything there! Will let you know how it goes-in bocca al lupo to us!
