HOW TO CARAMELIZE ONIONS
Slice one large or two smaller onions into thin slices.
Place 1 tsp of butter and 1 tbsp olive oil in a saute pan, melt over medium low heat.
Add the onions, and salt immediately, as this will result in better flavor.
Saute slowly for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Saute longer, for more caramelization. I wanted them like this for what I was making.
Use as desired.
